Beans and rice advice?

I have a pot of 'small red beans', and a pot of cooked rice. I want to make some sort of simple beans and rice, but I don't have the ingredients for the Louisiana beans and rice.

I have:

beef broth
chicken broth
a lot of different types of herbs and spices
a can of petite diced tomatoes
Mexican cheese, forget the name but it's white and crumbly-like

Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance!

    Don't know if this is too late, but here are my suggestions. Definitely add some onions and garlic, and some broth. I don't think it would matter much on whether you used chicken or beef.

    In my Louisiana red beans and rice, I spice it with oregano, cumin, pepper, and bay leaves. (I also use beef smoked sausage, which gives it good flavor.) If you don't have those things, I'd put in the can of tomatoes and some salt and pepper, and maybe some chili powder or cumin.
