Skin care during pregnancy

Hi Guys

I'm just about to enter the second trimester of my pregnancy and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for skincare?

I'm naturally prone to breakouts, and I usually use a mild cleanser with a BHA gel/liquid and then either benzoyl peroxide or a BHA cream/gel to actual tackle a spot when it appears. However, I know BHA's aren't recommended during pregnancy, hence the request for any recommendations!

BHA's are fine during pregnancy. They are NOT aspirin. They are a distant cousin. Any aspirin-like qualities do not penetrate the skin to become systemic and cause bleeding.

Thanks. Every pregnancy website I've visited seem to suggest that you should stop using BHA's during pregnancy, hence my caution!

When I hit the second trimester, my dermatologist prescribed topical erythromycin which helped immensely. It was also nice and cheap and safe while breastfeeding.
