PCOS...oh, fabulosity...

Yeah. This Utah girl needs a Gyno and quick. Another jag in the ER with yet another cystic burst. So obviously, whatever I've got going isn't working...if anyone has any good docs...hook a sister up!

We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names and each is a different color. But they all have to learn how to live in the same box. ~Anonymous

Let me get this right, you got up close and personal with the nurse and now you've got STD? Hmmm....
Seriously, short-term disability isn't all that bad, except for the decrease in salary...but it's better than time off without pay.

I talked with my boss yesterday and he was willing the chuck the whole convo out the window about me being off work for 5 days, but I woke up this morning feeling like I'd been hit by a mac truck, so those wishes went out the door. On the upside, I get to catch up on some good reading! I love reading. It's pretty fabulous. But only if it's a good, trashy, romance novel. Okay, not only, but I sure do love those! With sassy females that kick some tail along with the men. My kinda chick.
I've been lucky enough thru my PCOS journey never to have a cyst rupture on me, and I can't imagine how painful that must be for you!!
Hope you're doing better now.... sorry about the STD issue!
Hugs for you!

What kind of after-effects have you had? I've had a couple burst, but beside the horrendous pain and uncomfortable problems, I can't remember any other problems. It's amazing how we forget those things, huh? Like burning the roof of your mouth with food that was too hot, but do it again after you're healed completely.
Now, your hair looks terrific, you've got a bit of a twinkle back...but don't rush it as you need to be well again.
Now, do you need any ice cream? Please God, not together! (standing by bedside with freshly sharpened pencil and pad for "Chopin Liszt"

Ohhhh...will you marry me? Wow...I don't get that kind of treatment here. Probably because I'm a hag when I'm sick...just want to be left alone. Momma has control of the remote (staying at the parentals for a while), but you know, wireless internet is a wonderful thing. Thank goodness for NC, the internet and good books. Makes it bearable.
BTW, no beer. Don't drink anyway, but can't have alcohol with the painkillers...much is the pity. I might be driven to drink othewise. I think there's some rum in the cabinet...hmm...
