There's about two months between these photos. I blocked out my face in the 2nd because I look terrible!

I can really see the difference! You have very pretty hair.

I don`t think mine grows that much in two months. Are you taking any supplements

Whatsercurl, look at those elongated ringets and banana curls...too cute!! Your hair is the length that I want. How's CG going for you? I just couldn't get past the first stage. I learned a lot of good things though.

I'm on natural/bioidentical hormones that have a lot (too long to list all) of vitamins and minerals. I take Calcium, Vit C, B1, B6, B12, fishoil, and a High Potency Complex B that has Folic Acid, Vit C , Thiamin, Riboflavin, more B6 and B12, Biotin, and Pantothenic Acid. I added the Complex B and noticed much more growth in the last few months. I'm even having to shave under my arms and my legs more often. I had a severe B deficiency and that's why I started taking a lot per my dr. and the hair growth was a bonus!

Thank you Speckla. I don't think I've ever heard the term banana curl but I catch the meaning. :)

Not to be cliche but CG has changed my life! I hated my hair until I found this site and the no poo method. It took me somewhere between 2 and 3 months to find the right combination of products so that my hair wasn't either plastered to my head, stringy or some other greasy look. Plus I started in the summer and it is extremely humid where I live on the coast. So I completely understand you couldn't get past the first stage. For me it was totally worth it.

I have been taking Biotin separately and my nails seem to be growing like gangbusters just haven't seen a huge difference in my hair growth. I think I"ll try one of the Complex B's and see what that does. I would like to grow my hair out to BSL. I've had it like that before but that was in the 80's when big hair was in so I fit right in. ;)

Hey, the 80s were a good time to have curly hair and it didn't matter if it was dry or damaged because everyone's hair looked like that. :laughing5:

Do you find the Biotin makes you stomach upset sometimes? I've never tried it by itself because I've heard folic acid and a few other vitamins help the body to process it efficiently.

I've heard a few in other posts say that it upset their stomach too. I always take it with food and have never had a problem. In Canada, it's actually labelled with "Helps the body to metabolise fats and carbohydrates" and to take with meals. With that labelling information, I'm thinking it might be hard on empty stomach.

BTW .. I haven't noticed a weight loss. I suspect they're trying to lure dieters with the labelling. But I don't take with every meal either.

I've recently increased from 500mcg a day to 1000. Since my nails are doing so well with 500, we'll see what happens with 1000 and the addition of a B Complex.

You'd blow away to nothing if you lost weight. You look very petite. :tongue7:

I've also noticed my hair is getting thicker and I'm getting more babyhairs around my bangline. My hair was thinning in patches and now it is a lot better.

    You're so sweet. :)

That's wonderful news about your hair thickening up! You must be as excited about that as the length.

I have a couple of friends who have thinning hair and it is very frustrating for them. I will definitely be telling them about your regimen.

Thanks for the advice on the Complex B Vitamin, Speckla. I think I may try that, as well. I'm trying to regrow my hair (used to be mid-shoulderblade, now not even to shoulders!) and every little bit helps!
