My Sister's Keeper

I am probably behind the 8 ball but I picked this book for my book club and I just finished reading it - I could NOT put it down. I am now going to have to read some of her other books. She is also a curly and one of the characters in the book said 'my hair has it's own zip code'.

I cried too. I was teased a lot in school too, so it broke my heart to read the torture he went through. I felt so sorry for the character. I really get into books though, and care about the characters, imagine what they look like, etc.

I emailed her a long time ago to compliment her writing (of course) and her beautiful curls, and she wrote back. She's so cool!
Who's read Change of Heart?
I am reading that now.
Anyone else hear that she is upset they may change the end of My Sister's Keeper for the movie? While I hated the ending (I wanted a happy ending-but I think the ending was what it needed to be) I think they should keep it that way for the movie.

I LOVE Jodi Picolt books. The first one I read was My Sister's Keeper. It was one of the best books I've ever read. I couldn't put it down.
I also love the way she writes from different character's perspective.
ROUTINE: LI, enhancer, gel, plop with Curlease towel, serum product (either CIAB or Gel-les'c), clip & diffuse.
Too many favourite products to list ... I finally have my routine that works and alot of products to choose from. My product stash is huge, but well loved !!!
ETA: I just finished Perfect Match. The adultry could have easily been left out of it and frankly it's getting old. That said, I enjoyed the book. It was very emotional for the main character and at times I had a hard time empathizing with her, but overall I liked the story.

Favorites: Anything from Curly Kinks...their system is my new holy grail. Still liking Juice Organics Orange and TJ Refresh Conditioners as all purpose co-wash and rinse outs.

I think I've read almost all of her's except for one. My favourite, by far, has been My Sister's Keeper.
