Can I rant about my mom again-accused of watching porn...

Ya, my new accusation is that I'm watching porn. I used my younger sister's laptop (she's 10) because mine was getting fixed. I was the "Guest" user and my sister used the other (the one with her username/not the guest one). My mom used the laptop. She (I think, she doesn't want to talk) used the one with my sister's username (the one I don't use). She went to Google and typed something, and got that (I have no idea what it is called, that bar where you type a letter and sometimes a list of what you've searched comes up). Anyway, she found porn. Which I didn't open. And I especially wouldn't be stupid enough to open on my sister's laptop. And I don't think my 10 yr old sister would use it that way. And my mom doesn't think so too. But of course she thinks I would :happy2: Because of course sarasara would do something like that :bounce:
So I tried to show her that I onlÿ use the "Guest" thing, that I'm the "Guest" user, that i don't use the personalized one my sister uses, but she doesn't want to listen.
I have no idea where those came up from. I mean, someone might have stole the IP address or something, that's the only thing I can think of. But she won't believe that. Since she doesn't want to believe I'm not stupid enough to look at porn on my younger sister's laptop she won't ebleive anything else.
:cherry:
Thanks for listening. Or reading.

For your sisters protection I would delete all the history and cookies in the browser programs you are using on the computer. Both USER and GUEST profiles to be safe and an ADMIN one if there is another separate but that is probably the one with your sister's name.
I remember when my best friend and I were 10 years old, we called those 976-sex (recorded sex talk) phone numbers and just listened and cracked up laughing. We had no idea what the hell the women were talking about, really...but we knew it was something bad. And we kept calling and calling and laughing and laughing....
Then.
The phone bill came.
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Geez... kids!

I agree that blocking the porn/violence sites on your sister's computer is a better option than accusing you without proof.
You can turn off the feature. Read the link.
as RCW said, they are devious.
politics is like me and my buddy going hippo hunting. we shoot a hippo and it falls on us. now, instead of using our joint effort of pushing the hippo off of us, we arue for 5 1/2 years on who's idea it was in the first place to go hippo hunting.
Dunno.
Pop ups happen ALL the time, and you get porn pop ups when looking at non porn sites. There are blocking tools/parental blocks you can put on your PC to eliminate those pop ups.
Sorry you have to deal with all of that.
Sarasara, f you think that pop-up ads are to blame, do you have a program like Ad-Aware? Use it once a week, and it should remove the junk you have, and keep things clean. When it asks you to type in a registration number, just click "Cancel." They have a competitor that's called Spyware, but DO NOT use this. It intentionally skips over a lot of important things.
You can help keep adware and pop-ups off your computer in the first place by using Firefox with the add-ons Noscript, Adblock Plus, Filterset.G, and the first two of Rick's filtersets.
I don't know if it was a pop-up. My mom said she went to Google and typed in something, and from the drop down bar it showed that someone searched porn. Do pop-ups do that? Plus, porn sites are blocked here, so it's not easy to find porn sites actually showing porn. Or maybe its easy, but I really have no idea. My mom just doesn't want to listen and keeps endin or conversatios with "just don't do that again." She's pretending to be nice to me now.
Ugh - I haven't had this exact problem happen to me (and about that problem, if it's actually something like a google search of "porn", it seems like something immature that a ten year old would do, IMO. Like teehee, bad word, I'm gonna search it now), but I can definitely relate to that "see? I'm the good cop now. Just admit your crime" tactic. It sucks, but hang in there - right now her mind's jumping to conclusions so quickly there's no energy left to supply her ears. What is your sister's involvement in this right now? Have you spoken with her about it? Does she know what your mom's accusing you of?
...It's a siggie.
Porn is blocked by the government. My mom said she saw videos on Google. Or I'm really not sure. She wasn't very clear. What's pissing me off is that she might have told other people. A mom spreading rumors about her own daughter :happy2:
I would stop caring at this point. You told her you didn't do it, she doesn't believe you. Oh well. Short of going on the Maury show and hooking yourself up to a lie-detector, there's nothing else you can do.

No, I don't think so. I guess it's like what Bianca said, there's nothing to do. She probably doesn't trust me more now, but she never did. Not much difference I guess. I've always had those weird things happen to me, such as random people who work in restaurants asking me how my boyfriend is in front of her, although I've never had one. I should get used to this. I wonder what's next :happy2:

If you have the "auto-fill" feature enabled, and you type something in any search bar, it will show a drop down of searched items that are close to what you typed. If you did a search yesterday for "dog food" and today you're searching for "dog toys" as soon as you type the word "dog" then the dog food search will appear in the drop down.
Since your mom isn't listening to your suggestions, at this point I would also just drop it and try not to worry about it.
