heavier products similar to KCCC?

Hello,
This is my first winter on CG and it seems my hair needs heavier products as the weather gets colder. I have had some success with the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Knot-Today-p-207.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-knot-today-leaveindetangler]KCKT[/buylink]/[buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] combo but am always trying new products. I was thinking about miss jessies or the curl junkie curl cream. Has anyone tried these? are the similar to the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]? My hair is mostly 3a but is coarse and thick and i have some kinky 3something else hairs that pop out at random places around my head :happy7:
TIA

I did not like Jessicurl stylers. None of them are cream-based or moisturizing IMO.
Curls and Blended Beauty both offer products that are moisturizing...lots of people like them. Have you tried products from either of those lines? Might be something to consider if you like heavier products. (A couple of the Curls products aren't CG, though).
There's been a lot of buzz about this SheaMoisture leave-in. I haven't tried it yet but I will be doing so w/in the next few weeks.

I've tried the Fantasia Olive oil gel. It is very moisturizing (like the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]) but it leaves my hair feeling stiff and dry (unlike the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink]). I'm sure it's because of the protein. And it does contain dimethicone, so it's not CG.
I liked the way that it weighed down my hair, but didn't like the stiff, dry feeling, so I stopped using it and went back to using [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink].

But no, it's not that much like [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KCCC[/buylink] IMO. Although it might work applied on top of [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Knot-Today-p-207.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-knot-today-leaveindetangler]KCKT[/buylink].
