straightening on low heat

does anyone else in here try to straighten on the lowest heat setting? Its what I do to keep my hair from getting damaged and it looks okay although not usually completely straight which is fine with me...the only problem is it doesnt seem to last as long if you use the lowest setting

    Hell no. My hair takes long enough on a moderate heat setting. Lower would probably double straightening time. I'm content with having a good iron that doesn't do half the damage of a regular one. =]

    Do you have a sedu? I hear those are good, but I could never find them at the store, so I bought a conair and its okay (although sometimes I feel like i have to rip my hair out to get it straight, especially at the roots).

    ^Ya, I don't think it's sold in stores, it's online, but some salons carry it.
