Feels waxy???

I just started using nexxus humectress conditioner.  When I apply it it feels waxy for lack of a better word. It doesn't glide through my hair at all.  Does anyone else have experience with this and I was wondering which ingredient might be the culprit so I can avoid it in the future. I have 3a on the top layer and 3b underneath and high porosity hair.  TIA
here is the ingredient list:
WATER, CETEARYL ALCOHOL,CETYL ALCOHOL,CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, CETRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, STEARALKONIUM CHLORIDE, FRAGRANCE, BIS(C13-15 ALKOXY) PG-AMODIMETHICONE, C14-15 ALCOHOLS, ISOSTEARAMIDOPROPYL DIMETHYLAMINE, DIMETHICONE, DMDM HYDANTOIN, AMINOPROPYL DIMETHICONE, DISODIUM EDTA, DIMETHICONOL, CITRIC ACID, HYDROGENATED COCONUT OIL, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, IODOPROPYNYL BUTYLCARBAMATE, YELLOW 5, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, HONEY EXTRACT, BLUE 1, RED 33, RED 4

I'm no ingredient expert so I'm not sure which ingredients would give a waxy feel. But it does have a bunch of different cones in there (5?) which might do that?

I agree - sure is loaded up with cones, and a couple are definitely not water-soluable. Could be that. Maybe the combination of a cone (soluable or otherwise) + coconut oil. Sometimes formulation makes a big difference in whether a product is a holy grail or a toxic waste hazard on the hair.

Wow why do they put so many silicones in that one? (And frankly, I have no idea what all the rest of the ingredients mean!)

Yes, cones-galore! You also might have low-porosity hair, in which product tends to lay on the hair shaft instead of penetrating it.

41 years old and I'm still learning.  Thank you, I did some research on silicones and I bet that is what the problem is.  Thank you so much for the info.
