Beer rinse for heat damage?!

I used to have beautiful curly hair, now it's just straight! I've been doing deep conditions every week, but would a beer rinse help my hair's heat damage? I really don't want to do the big chop
What should I do?! Also, I don't know how to flat twist, but what are some good styles for heat damaged hair to give the illusion of curly hair?

Ive tried a beer rinse, im a massive herby rinse/condition fan so ive tried almost everyone in the book. beer is meant to help with the volume of your hair, and yes, help with damage, and condition. I found that it did smell a bit even when my hair was dried, i still thought i smelt like and oil beer stain on the carpet haha though my fav is still a herbal acv rinse. have you tired hot oil treaments? doing them once a week helps as well with the damage.
my hair: 3b, high porosity, high density and coarse hair (i think i finally figured that all out)
my hair loves conditioner only styling!
Oils and my own procuts are my hairs best friend
my hair goal length is bra strap length when curly.
