Section of hair that won't curl

in Hair Type 3
So the average curly girl has 2-4 different types of curls, I have 3b around my neck level, 3a around my ear level and unfortunately the very top section of my hair is more wavy (mostly in the back) does anyone have any tips or tricks to get this wavy section of hair to at least a 3a? thanks

the more you moisturize your hair, the curlier and more volume it will get. so i recommend deep conditioning, good conditioners as leave ins, and even sealing in low dews.

What is low dews?
Sent from my cave
here is an article by the curl chemist on dew points:
Humidity, Humectants and the Dew Point
you can do a search on curl talk and find lots more on it.
the only thing you really need to know is that dew points of 40 to 60 is great for curly hair --
below 40 the air is dry and that can dry our hair out, takes moisture from our hair.
above 60 are high dews, puts moisture into our hair, sometimes too much.
sealing our hair keeps the moisture in. dew points can never be higher than the temp, so even if it is snowing and the humidity is 100%, the dew point must be below the temp which is most likely 32 or lower, so that will take moisture from our hair.
