Will cinnamon damage my hair?

My first post! so glad I found out about this amazing online comunity

Well, here´s the deal: I´ve been adding cinnamon to my flaxseed gel (just for the smell, you know...) and I´ve notice my ends are a little bit lighter.

I´m transitioning from heat damaged hair to 3b healthy curls, and after finding out the growing encouragment properties of cinnamon,cofee and other ingredients I though it was a good idea to incorporate them to my rutine ( no that I have an specific rutine, but I´m trying to care about my hair the best I can)

I dyed my hair about a year ago with this product: (really similar to my natural color.... don´t even know why I did it)

I´m worried about the interaction between my dyed-heat damaged tresses, and the peroxide in cinnamon. Also, I´d like to know if it´s bad to use cinnamon when you´re exposed to sun and humidity (I try to protect my hair, but living in a tropical country is hard to do it).
