Natural to... Natural!

I am really wanting to embrace my natural hair. Ever since 6th grade, I've gotten my hair washed, blow-dried and straightened once a month. Now, I'd really like to wear my hair naturally curly. I have 3c hair with some 4a mixed in. I have high density, high porosity and normal width. My hair straightened is in the middle of my back, but when I get my hair washed it shrinks just below shoulder length. I'd like to know what to do and what regimen I should adopt with wearing my hair curly. Please post products, detangling methods, styling methods and anything else you think I'd need to know before making the jump from straight to curly. I'll post a picture of my hair straight so you guys can get an idea of how it looks. I don't have a recent picture of my hair curly, and my hair has changed a lot since 6th grade, so I won't post it. Thanks! ImageUploadedByCurlTalk1366165925.421203.jpg

Does the curly pudding stretch out your curls? Thanks for all the other info, it's quite helpful!

Yes, it does for me. I notice my curls are tighter in the morning, but as the day goes on they loosen up.

I was just wondering because everyone has mixed opinions. I'm definitely willing to try it out to see if it works for me. Do you use a brush, comb or your fingers to detangle?

    I finger detangle

I finger detangle as much as possible. It keeps down the amount of hair I see in the shower & in the sink.

Ok thanks for all the info! Have you tried any other Miss Jessie's products? How did they work on your hair?
