If Santa comes to your house what kind of cookie is left out?

I haven't decided what to bake yet today!

Although I make a lot of cookies during the holidays, Santa usually gets premade, Christmasy cookies.

Using my iphone with my toe thumbs. There will be typos.

Whole wheat sables with cacao nibs, hazelnuts, and currants
    Linzer sables
    Sesame tuiles
    Coconut tuiles
    Screaming ginger cookies

And more, but that depends on what cookie I just made. :p

Outside of the ginger cookies, they're all either sandy or crisp (the tuiles). I favor texture over chewy.

I like more chewy & soft cookies. My husband doesn't like chocolate :)

I'm considering a bar cookie, it's less work to get it all in a pan when you have a 2 year old running around.

Well I have six to choose from. Raspberry thumbprints, peanut butter blossoms, lemon ricotta, oatmeal, cranberry and white chocolate, double chocolate espresso, and snickerdoodles. I think it'll come down to one snickerdoodle, a lemon ricotta, and an oatmeal cranberry white chocolate. I think he'll approve ;)

Agreed with Ninja, if I leave out cat cookies, they'll be gone when I wake up, so it's just like Santa!

My dad was the one who ate the biscuit/mince pie. I think the biscuit was just something we had in, nothing special.

Me and my brother also left out a carrot for the reindeer and a bottle of beer.

I'm sure dad loved the combo of beer, biscuit and carrot.

One of each from the 4 batches I made yesterday: swedish cream cheese cookies (rolled out and filled with apricot or raspberry jam), choc chip made with red and green m&ms, chocolate crinkles, and sugar cookies with sprinkles.

The cream cheese ones were for hubby and the other 3 are my sons' faves :) plus carrots for the reindeer of course!

He gets sugar cookies and hot choco...the key is to get the little one to sleep long enough for Santa to come and

Ever since the sports thread wars I have sensed a special connection between [edit] & Wile. Like the connection oil has to water. I almost can't speak of it. eyes are misting. ~asq

One of my friends posted on FB that his son decided Santa would rather have a tip than cookies. So he left him $5 with a note that said "Dear Santa, please take this."

We made gingerbread and my daughter picked a little man and a circular cookie with a red and white santa boot on it.
