What a difference a trim makes!

Sooo, I'm 14 months post relaxer. I've been too afraid to big chip so I mostly wash n go or wear a bun. However since the weather has changed and it's less humid and cooler I've started getting my hair flat ironed again! I know, terrible but I like wearing my hair straight from time to time.
Anyway, last time I went to the salon the hair dresser suggested I get a trim. I said no at first because I'd just had a trim less than a month ago but decided to let her do it since I'm trying to get rid of my relaxed ends anyway. I wore it straight for 4 days or so and then dyed it last night. After I rinsed the dye I did a dt and baggied overnight. This morning I rinsed and styled and the results are amazing!!!! My curls were so defined and bouncy and shiny! I'm sad I have to go to bed and end my good hair day! Lol
The top of my hair never really curls well but whatever!
