I ordered some Ambrosia and this is what I got

in Hair Type 4
The jar is less than half full and the oils have begun to separate. Is this they way it's suppose to look like? Since this is my first purchase from them on their sale, I'm just wondering.
I'm gonna ignore that they sent it to the wrong address, I ask for it to be shipped to my mom's house, not my house.

Gurl, I'm hot! I saw your video about it and figured everything had been fixed. I didn't see anyone else complain about it so when the sale came I ordered the ENTIRE line. If I could mail a dead pigeon I would, LOL, that's how hot I am right now. Let me go cool down before I go on to YT on a rant, LOL

ah okay. may have just been the extreme heat (trucks get even hotter i'm sure). not sure where the products are coming from and shipping too but it's over 100 here with the heat index. even the best quality products will liquify coming my way.

Yeah I guess it melted some where over the rainbow in La La land while in transit, no telling how many attempts to deliver it because she sent it to an address where no one is normally home during the day. Drizzling and cold here. Her email just told me it's normal, so yeah I'm pissed. There is no spilage in the box, double pissed. Also informed me not to put it in the fridge because it would change the texture, WTF!
so there are 2 issues. one is the product is not the quantity that you thought you were getting and two it's possibly melted or something and the product consistency is not what you expected. many companies will say it's okay to refrigerate to allow product to solidify. hmm, hate to say it but sounds like you got screwed! :angry7:

Because of the summer heat the butter is not going to be as firm as it would be if you purchased it in the fall, winter, or spring. That is why your creme was wrapped in heat protective bubble wrap. The creme is 8 oz by volume, but when it melts from the heat it causes it to lose it's whipped texture thus making it appear less in the jar. When I fill the jars with the creme, they are filled to the rim with product. There are warnings on the website about the creme having a potential to melt because of the weather. Please do not place your creme in the fridge, it will alter the texture because the fridge will introduce moisture into it. Just store it in a cool dark place. I can send you another one to compensate, but it will still melt down a bit as well during the shipping process. Let me know and please include the address you want me to mail it to.
Thanks!"
So I guess I will be eating this and do a honest video about my experience later. I didn't know I had to go searching all over the effin website for warning labels, my fault. Guess I shouldn't have ordered it, my fault.
separation is normal in products when they aren't room temperature but depending on the ingredients and the level of heat it might not separate much but even 100 degree temps (which is easy for some trucks during shipping) can cause a product to liquify. ideally once it solidifies it should perform the same but that's often not the case. products can get grainy and weird.

i hear you. i'm not familiar with this line. you may be right about her ingredients. agree with the bolded. honestly this is why i don't really try new lines. it seems that almost any and everybody is selling a product. i stick to my tried and true or things that i can buy in the store (and return easily).

A metalic bubble wrap, same stuff my Zipporah Beauty comes in. Why not an Ice Pack???
+1 My Anita Grant Cafe Latte melted in delivery. I gave it 4 days but had to put it in the fridge to get it to solidify.
I was a leary about ordering the DM Buttercream for the same reason. It's just too darn hot. I'm hoping it gets here okay but I won't be surprised to see it arrive liquidy.
ETA: I agree melting and seperating are different issues. It shouldn't seperate.
