  Yes, indeed. It is a royal pain. The first time was my card and the fraud department caught it after the charges were made - had to cancel the card. The second time was the hubs card and the fraud department caught it before the charges were made - had to cancel the card.
  
  This time was the hubs card again and I caught it - an extra charge on my statement for $1025.99 caught my eye - had to cancel the card.
  
  Thankfully no cost to us any of the times.

  No, they weren't debits. They were on our regular cc. Thankfully my card has good service for these sort of things.
