white camellia ultra-smoothing conditioner

What are everyone's thought on this conditioner? I heard it has great slip? Your thoughts? Btw, I realized that I am allergic to preservatives unless they are natural (but I am allergic to phenoxyethanol-- a natural preservative).

    I don't think AO uses synthetic fragances (correct me if I am wrong). However, WC has a REALLY strong herbal scent to it. Be prepared for it, lol!

    I would stay away. It's a very strong scent - not like camellia at all IMO. All Aubrey conditioners have strong fragrances and I agree that they are probably synthetic.

    I love it, but the smell is strong. It is a staple for me. However, I have to add something else on top because of the smell. Do you know someone who already has it? Can you get a sample before you buy it?

    AO White Camellia would be a holy grail product for me if it weren't for the pungent scent. If you're sensitive to odors, you might want to stay away from this one. I haven't had any success in masking the odor.

    It seems like it would have good slip but I've never used it for detangling. I just smooth it on my ends w/o combing through. I would count it as a holy grail for smoothing. I use it over AO Honeysuckle Rose.

    I would not say it has great slip. It is too thick for that. I use it to deep condition prior to shampooing so I don't worry about the slip. I usually mix it with some oil infused whith ayurvedic herbs and apply it in sections to ensure good distribution abd I cover it up and let it marinate so I don't have to worry about the smell. The smell is not bad to me considering the much-worse-smelling things out there.

    I've used it as a DT, but prefer it as a cowash. As a DT, it had some slip where I could finger comb it, but I've tried other conditioners with better slip. If I can finger comb my hair after DT or during a cowash, then it has good slip. If I can still fingercomb my hair after it dries, then it has great slip. My hair tangles very easily, so those are my standards.
