You jam to this in the car, blast it when you're alone, it's on your ipod 10 times LOL but you know folks would laugh at you.

What is it?

    That was Andy Gibb. :love7:

I've been listening to "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry lately. It's something I would normally loathe, but the Glee version has made it a mild obsession for me.

Some George Michael. It's horrible, but it gets things done for some reason — work, running, etc.

I'm not really embarrassed by my music, but some people might snicker at some songs I like:
The Devil Went Down to Georgia - Charlie Daniels
Live Like You Were Dying - Tim McGraw
Love Is the Answer - England Dan and John Fogerty

George Michael solo or Wham? I actually love both! "Careless Whisper" is my JAM. GM had (has?) a really nice voice. And I haven't met another black person who had a copy of Wham's "Make It Big" album back in the day.

I luv me some 80s pop music, and I ain't ashamed! :laughing7: Well, maybe I am, just a little.....

Is one of them "Toxic"? Because that's an anomalously good song. I think it's pretty much universally liked.

I am not embarrassed by any music that I listen to, but other people really like to comment on my love of Lionel Richie and Hall and Oates. My husband and a couple of his friends/coworkers like to mess with me about my Paula Abdul cd.

    I have plenty!

"Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley.
    "Caribbean Queen" by Billy Ocean
A few Spice Girls songs--"Wannabe" and "Say You'll Be There"

I'm sure there's more, but that's just off the top of my head.

LOL, I thought you meant three songs. I've never heard of that one!

EDIT: LOL, I like the little geometry lesson in there. A triangle's angles do indeed add up to 180 degrees!

EDIT 2: And I like how the video starts off with her spraying one of the perfumes she endorses!

    LOL! Thank you Speckla :D

Nirvana's Lake of Fire has an engaging melody to me but it's demented.

Where do bad folks go when they die?
They don't go to heaven where the angels fly
They go to the lake of fire and fry
Won't see them again 'till the fourth of July

    People cry and people moan
They look for a dry place to call their home
Try to find some place to rest their bones
While the angels and the devils try to make them their own

'Truly, Madly, Deeply' and 'I Knew I Loved You' by Savage Garden.

I don't feel embarrassed with stuff I actually like, you should freely enjoy what you enjoy, but the goofiness of the Savage Garden songs, and finding them soothing at the same time kinda cracks me up.

Life in a northern town and Tainted love are classics, absolutely nothing to be ashamed of there! I have them on my ipod.

I also have the theme tunes to Z-Cars (The Liverpool Line) and Van der Valk (Eye Level). My SO just shakes his head at me, but who cares!

I'm still pissed at them for breaking up! Pissed!

    My guilty pleasures are

    "Big Spender"- Peggy Lee
    "California Gurls"- Katy Perry
"Mr Cellophane" and "All That Jazz"- Chicago. These last two aren't bad, but randomly bursting out singing them out in the middle of Hong Kong is :sad8:
I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

While I'm never ashamed of what music I listen to, I do have some choices that turn heads (in certain circles)

John Deere Green by Joe Diffie
Walking Round in Women's Underwear by Bob Rivers (spoof stuff, my cousin loved it!)
    Jump by Kriss Kross
My extensive collection of random 80's and 90's hits and probably the most embarrassing...........

    Love and Affection by Nelson

I just love it! Always makes me feel warm and fuzzy!

Mostly I get weird looks for the randomness of my collection. It goes from classic rock (AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Nugent, etc) to Big Band Swing, to 80's - 90's pop, to hair metal to bluegrass to country to hip hop to R&B/Funk/Soul to local music to celtic fiddle tunes to Ska and back around again.
