How do I keep my limp wavy hair outta my face?

seriously, I have to do something, and soon. I've pretty much had it...sooo tired of taking up precious time styling it just so that it can go into its ponytail with the front parts secured.

So....I turn to my fellow curlies and wavies for some help! I'm seriously considering chopping it all off a la Alyssa Milano.

I used headbands to help grow out my bangs. They were not actually cut to be bangs, but it was the front part of the hairsyle I did last summer, trying to go for a "Halle Berry look" at that time. I went to Claire's and got every style I liked in black and brown -- I had enough to get through about 2 weeks, so I didn't get bored. Then when the bangs grew a little longer, I used the butterfly/chip clips on the top of my head -- didn't love how that looked, but it was a nice break from headbands. Now my bangs are almost at a length that I can scoop them behind my ear, but they do fall around my eyes sometimes just enough to bother me.

I do not have grown out bangs, my hair is long enough to put behind my ear. I just dont have enough ear to control the hair  Can't figure out a way to style it out of my face without looking very unattractive either.

If it would suit your face, deep bangs would get the hair off your face. Since your hair is wavy, long choppy bangs could work really well. (By deep, I mean the bangs start farther back on your head.)
