Argan Oil/ Moroccan Oil

in Hair Type 4
Has anyone used argan oil aka moroccan oil? I am currently looking for virgin argan oil, Moroccan Oil just has too much other chemicals in it. Argan oil is very high in vitamin E and much praised in Morocco where it's also eaten (and According to the Ayurveda you should not put anything on your skin or hair that you wouldn't eat).
3c/4a. Very Fine and Thin.

It seemed to be a pretty decent oil - for hair - but ended up being too heavy for me. It started to look a little greasy which I thought was impossible for my hair, except, that greasyness came without extra softness . Although I did finish the whole jar, so I guess that says something.
If your hair can tolerate heavier oils then I would say its worth a try. I will say that if I wasn't CG I would definitely rep the Moroccan Oil brand argan oil that has all the silicones because when I tried it (my mom uses it) it did make my hair "feel" soft.
As an extra note: the argan oil from this brand was frustrating sometimes because the jar it comes in has a wide open mouth so I would often pour more then I intended into my hand - but if your not dopey like me then that shouldn't be a problem
3a/3b - fine texture/high porosity
CURRENT LINE-UP:
experimenting....
Others: CLU towel, Mebco comb, occasional diffuser
Just wanted to add that the one I saw at Sally's at least had silicones in it like the Moroccan Oil brand one has.

I saw this place has a lot of exotic oils as well as the more common ones like coconut, olive and almond. Has anyone ever ordered from here?

*found out about this company while stalking SBB's fotki when I first started transitioning-- I've ordered several body products from them as well with marvelous results!!!*
Uh, SBB, where do you purchase your Emu Oil... I got a small bottle from garden of wisdom.

Thanks Suburbanbushbabe for your review on Argan and Baobab oil from Sheaterraorganics.com. I just ordered from there. I also was looking for Argan/moroccan oil since my sister got some from Sally's. I did not want to order Sally's brand because it is full of silicones and not pure argan. I was going to get Kiehl superably restorative dry argan oil from Nordstroms, but decided to check naturallycurly forum first. I'm glad I did. This website (sheaterraorganics.com) has pure argan and is cheaper than Kiehl's brand. I could not find Kiehl's ingredients, so I do not know if it is pure argan.
I also ordered baobab oil because my daughter suffers from rosacea and I am hoping this oil will help clear her skin.
Thanks again SBB for your product reviews!
I got mine from GOW too. I like their quality. I've heard stories about women using emu oil and it is stinky. GOW's doesn't smell at all. I may try Majestic Mountain sage, they have it as well as som other oils I use and they are cheaper.

Argan Oil - Lotioncrafter
While it was not cheap ($5.50 for half an ounce), it only took a little bit to add softness to my hair.
