Residue and Hair Porosity

The last couple of times when I used the "conditioner only" method, residue from the conditioner was left on my hair. Does residue from this method give an indication of your porosity? Or do I have to tweek this method to make it work for me? Or, is this method just a "bust" for me?

    Some conditioners have Sodium Chloride in them. I wouldn't leave them in my hair because it is a table salt. It makes my hair feel weird too. Try to avoid these conditioners. Sometimes conditioners aren't that great for leave ins. I don't think it has something to do with the state of your hair.
