Well, a curly haired girly w/ tight 3C curly type hair. It would be nice hearing tips on how to maintain this type of hair. It can be very frustrating for me that I always straighten my hair. Any1 w/ suggestions in loosening my tight curls? It's awfully curly at the roots and slightly looser at the ends. Well, hope to hear from some of u!

wait a sec, do you have corkscrew curls or botticelli curls? corkskrew curls are small, tight, and kinda stick out. botticelli curls are looser and "fall" down from your head

I found this site years ago, just never joined. I just wana learn to embrace my curls more and see if other's have the same hair issues. I think I have corkscrew curls. I know a lil' uncommon since I'm Spanish and Filipino. Everyone in my family either has straight or wavy hair..nothing close to mine. How would I loosen them up? since they're so tight esp at the roots.
