What's your HG for reviving curls and 2nd day hair?

I'm looking for a really good product that works (on wet and dry hair) as an afternoon curl booster/reviver, to condition, defrizz, and define fly-aways. I'm in the market for one now and wanted some opinions.

Please if your HG product isn't listed and you choose "other" as your favorite, please tell us what it is!

I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to answer the question and offer some feedback. You all are awesome!

EDITED TO ASK: What is your hairtype?? This is very important info to help anyone interested in choosing a product. TIA!

I'm a 3c.
Hair type: 3C. Favorite products for the moment: CONDITIONER: Elucence MBC, LEAVE-IN COND: Curls Rock. CURL ENHANCER: Frederic Fekkai Luscious Curls. GEL: Ouidad Climate Control (HG), FINISHING: Frederic Fekkai Glossing Creme.

I'm sorry, but I'm not real familiar with her line. What is the SIF? Doesn't Pink Boots come in a tub? Thanks!

It definitely works for me on dry or wet hair, but I mostly use it on dry hair to 'revive' as you said.

Pink boots does come in a tub. I rub a little between my hands and water it down a bit, which is essentially the same way that I use SIF.

Used to be Ouidad's Botanical Boost. Since I started using oils, that doens't work. I use [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/CURLS-Curls-Milkshake-p-884.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Curls-Curls-Milkshake]Curls Milkshake[/buylink] on damp hair (steamed in the shower or spritzed). BB worked on dry hair but I had to use a lot.

I like SIF too, find it calms the afternoon frizzies and gives some definition back. I don't get second day hair though, so can't help there. My hair's 3a/b.

On occasion I do this too, but I just mix a small amount right before I use it. Sometimes I'll add a little conditioner and/or gel, too.

I used to mix cond w/ water and spray, then reapply gel, cream, etc. Now I just run wet hands over my hair, apply Garnier Fructis Leave-in Cond Cream (Sleek & Shine formula) and go. It's cheap, lasts forever, and I only need one product now for consistent 2nd day hair. Who knew!

Well I found for me I just spray it with water- that works for me for second day hair but it may not work for everyone.

I spray my hair with lavender water to moisten it just a little (plus I love the smell :D), then scrunch with SIF since I have that, now. Works great!

I use water with a lil bit of glycerin shaken up in it. It works GREAT!

Spray on Wave Nouveau Moisturizing Mist spray and plop in a plastic cap during your shower (with or without towel on top).

When I do this, I get really rejuvenated curls that are soft and sheeny but not the least bit greasy.

It's CG-friendly and costs $5 at any Sally's or BSS.

I've never been able to really do 2nd day hair and I've never found any products that worked as afternoon boosts any better than straight water. I just ordered the CJ Curl Boost or something like that and I actually think it might work. I've only tried it a couple of times and I don't think I had the amount quite right but it did seem to perk up my curls a bit at the end of the day.

I have not even tried 2nd day hair but to boost the curls if I am heading out after work I use Set it Free (SIF).

I don't know if I would call this a HG, but it works pretty well. I use a dollop of my normal gel, HE Totally Twisted, mixed with a drop of Suave M&H to make it less sticky and more "spreadable." Works like a charm for 2nd day hair!

I spritz with plain or lavender water, or the L'Oreal Kids detangler that smells like pears, and then scrunch in Set It Free. The Set It Free is the HG part of this equation as it moisturizes and smooths my hair and doesn't seem sit on there and feel producty, but does seem to enhance curl. I mean, my second day hair is not all that, but SIF produces the best results I have found so far. I really like this product.

Other potential HG for this purpose is Redken Fresh Curls spray. It seems very curl-enhancing for me so far, but I haven't used it enough to really know how well it will work over the long haul.

Currently using: Whole Foods 365 Herbal Mint Conditioner (co-wash), MOP Mixed Greens Conditioner, Paul Mitchell Lite Detangler, CK, ISO Bouncy Creme. Gave up on plopping due to tangles/"stickiness" and now I just comb through products and diffuse. It looks basically as good and dries a lot faster (I wasn't getting good clumps from plopping anyway). Still wish I were a lot curlier!

I love my newest find for second day hair. Herbal Essences Set Me Up Spray Gel. Sprayed right on my dry hair... works great! was using [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCurl-Set-it-Free-p-259.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-set-it-free]devacurl set it free[/buylink] which was fine, but the HE works even better!!!
