Hi there,
i think i might be a 3b, not too sure what do you think? I have a lot of hair, not sure about porosity. Plus I live in Florida.. but anyhoo.. i just ordered [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]Kinky-Curly Curling Custard[/buylink], [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper[/buylink] and [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Knot-Today-p-207.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-knot-today-leaveindetangler]Kinky-Curly Knot Today[/buylink]
Someone on another forum, said that those were for curlier hair and now I am all bummed. :(
But I thought I had researched it well and saw that a lot of FL people with similarish hair used these.
oh well.. just feel bad for spending all that money if it isnt for my hairtype.. here is a pic of my hair with Flax seed gel which seems to be nice in my hair:

several things can make your hair a different texture.. your cut. do you have layers? And Also in your siggy it says that your conditioner has cones.. are you just co-washing and not using shampoo to wash out those cones? cause thats bad you'll end up with build up.. but other than that the way you apply your products also makes your curls different... like scrunching in products instead of raking them in. Just try diferent things out
Length- mid-back; long layers -shorter in front:love5:
Thick 2/3b normal porosity. My hair likes creme & gel combos.
    Currently using:
    • Garnier Fructis for curls
    • Suave gel

Many products were originally developed for tighter curls. To many of our delight, they work well for most of us, too. Finding the right products is a matter of trial and error.

KCCC is the kind of product that everyone should try--or you'll always feel that you should. I had my best hair day ever, up until that point, the first time I used it. I now use a lot of other products I like better, but do use KCCC on a rare occasion. KCKT was never moisturizing enough for me. CK didn't do anything except make my scalp burn. Obviously, I was allergic to something in it.

Lots of people LOVE these products, so they are good choices. If they don't work, you can always swap them for other things on the swap board.

I think the KC system (poo, kt, cc) work well together. I like all three. I have 3b. :) I do think that how it's applied makes the difference (and quantity is a huge factor, as too much of one or the other, too little, makes a big change in outcome). Not everyone applies the same way, so it may be a matter of trying different application systems--raking or Denmaning vs combing vs scrunching vs raking then scrunching, etc.
