I really like the braided style with the green barrettes. That is really different and unique. It looks like a cute protective style.

Whew! That's some seriously long hair.

I'm more in the shoulder length to BSL length because it's easier to manage for me. Any longer than that and I'm spending too much time worrying about it.

I like all these styles the best. I miss the days when volume + curls were okay.

*sigh* I cannot wait to be able to try all sort of different hair styles! I haven't had really long hair since I was young (like 6 or 7yrs old)

My curly hair length would be a little shorter than the one you posted of Teri from tightlycurly.com.

My straight hair length would be my own hair from August 2007 (pic in my fotki). I got tired of it in November '07 and wanted a more grown up look so I had 8-10" cut off (it was HL).

For me, Kelis' old hair (when she wore it big) is perfect for me. Anything more and I'd prob not know what to do with myself lol

    keliscollage.jpg

She is one of the reasons I fell in love with big hair. I was like "I wanna do that too!" LOL

My hair is a combination between loose spirals and tight springs. It could really do whatever, depending how much I pissed it off :P
My hair is stubborn. What I thought would help me only resulted in horrible, damaged hair. Straightening my hair is now the only reasonable thing I can do. So, I am no longer CG. Not until my hair gets fixed.
Goal- Long, shiny locks! Currently shoulder length when curly. Goal is to reach around right below chest area. Wish me luck! :)

My ideal length is somewhere between the OP's first and third pictures. But my hair is 3A, so who knows...I'll try to find 3A inspiration!

ETA: one problem I'm having with finding pics from NC is that 3A isn't as curly as my hair, and 3B seems to be *too* curly! Let's see if I can find a happy medium!

    Aha! Found one!

    phpTIyvnB.jpg

Ok, maybe not that *facial expression* (lol) but her hair is similar to mine. I'd love to have hair that long when curly!

ETA2: Actually, that may be my ideal hair length...I don't think I'd be able to deal with hair much longer! Would you curlies say that's BSL or between BSL and waist?

    Condish: CJ Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner
Shampoo (Sulfate-free): Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat (use 1-2x/week)
    Styling Product: HETT mousse

TRYING to grow it out- maybe softer water and going almost strictly CG will help!
