Monterey Jack Cheese Bread

I subscribe to www.mastercook.com at sierrahome.com and they send me recipes everyday and this is the latest one. Le Drool

4 oz 1 in. Monterey Jack
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1 1/2 c. buttermilk baking mix
1 tbsp. black olives
1 tbsp. green chiles
1 tbsp. dried tomatoes (optional)

Preheat oven to 400 deg. Grease an 8-in. pie plate. Cut cheese into 1-in. cubes. Fit the steel blade into the work bowl. Process cheese until chopped into 1/4 in. pieces. Remove 1/2 c. cheese from bowl and set aside for topping. Add eggs, milk, rosemary, basil and biscuit mix to cheese in bowl. Process until batter is smooth, 10-15 seconds. stopping machine once to scrape down sides of bowl with rubber spatula. Remove bowl and fold in remaining ingredients. Pour into prepared pie plate. Sprinkle top of batter with remaining cheese. Bake until bread is light golden brown, about 20 min. Cut into wedges to serve.

I don't have a machine, but going to try it anyway. biggrin.gif Maybe next weekend. Already did grocery shopping.
P.S. They have a vegetarian section, don't know how good it is.
