...are we really going to be subjected to these invasive ads interspersed among the posts now?

Please, please, please none of those "exploding" or "expanding" ads where the "X Close" is camouflaged or teeny tiny and hard to find.

I know, I know...ads are a necessary evil and help keep nc.com free of charge to its members! But, still....

    OK, I've seen them now. Actually they're not so bad.

    When I read the OP, I thought they were those pop-up ads. Those are terribly annoying and I really hope this site never goes in that direction.

    I agree. I do.not.like the ads between the last post and the Quick Reply box (as found in the P&P forum). There are enough ads already. Do I really need to invest in anti ad software?
