What kind of nuts do you like?

...you know what I mean. I'm an almond/cashew kind of girl. I think peanuts are overrated.

I hate chestnuts. Yuck.
I like:
marcona almonds
pecans
pistachios
sunflower seeds
cashews
walnuts
chestnuts
peanuts
hazelnuts
brazil nuts
almost all nuts, really. I can't think of one I hate at the moment.

macadamias

Peanuts are ok but I have to be in the mood for them. I like pecans and walnuts but they give me canker sores if I eat more than a couple at a time.

Do you live near a Trader Joe's? If so, have you tried the rosemary marcona almonds from there? OMG, I go in and buy 10 bags at a time. They keep great in the freezer.
Cashews are my current favorites.
But I love almonds, walnuts (but they make my throat scratchy), peanuts, pistachios, and sunflower seeds are yummy.
I love my cashews, almonds, and walnuts to be saltless.

Nowadays I kind of worry where my mind's been at,

I'm not sure I've ever had a chestnut except in Monte Blanc, which isn't very good IMO.

O.M.G.!!! Yes, I do live near one --and no, I have not tried them. This is going to be me too, buying 10 bags at a time! My favorite cracker is Rosemary & Olive Oil Triscuits, so those nuts sound fabulous!!! I think you've created a monster! :evil1: Now I'm trying to think of a good excuse to head that way to pick some up. :evil1: But thanks for the tip!

I love those rosemary marcona almonds. Fabulous.
Also love pepitas, cashews, pecans, and pine nuts.
I'm not really into sunflower seeds, but I love sunflower seed butter.
