KMS curl up products

Hey
a few years ago when i was on one of my trips to the states visiting my boyfriend i bought a whole load of KMS products, shampoo conditioner, cream and some kind of balm. Now i kinda figured the products wouldn't work as the pic that went with them was of a woman with straight hair that had obviously been curled, my boyfriend tried to warm me but i went ahead and wasted my money anyway.
the products sucked but i really liked the shampoo and conditioner, i saw them again today and was tempted to buy but didn't want to part with my money ( when i'm in the UK i'm a little more cautious when it comes to spending money) has anyone else used the shampoo and/or conditioner with other products and if so what do you think of them?

for a while i have been using the body shop honey shampoo and conditioner with curls spiral cream and [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/CURLS-Curls-Milkshake-p-884.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Curls-Curls-Milkshake]milkshake[/buylink] as my products.

I use the conditioner, that's the only product in that line I like. My hair loves the conditioner. I have a whole liter of it I'm working through. It's nice and thick and my hair is always curlier for using it

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!

This probably doesn't help a lot but I have tried their shampoo and curling creme. The curling creme just always felt gross and "producty" in my hair. It almost looked like a gel but it was so thick and sticky! It may work better now though since I know more about how to apply products. The shampoo wasn't anything special but it did work. I'm not sure what the ingredients in it are but it didn't seem to hurt my hair.
Soo like I said that may not be a lot of help! Their products seem to work okay for me but they aren't at an HG level or anything.

I'm like Medusahair. My hair loves the conditioner. I get nice soft curls when I use this. It's really moisturizing for me.

I didn't like their styling products either. I only like the shampoo & cond. (yummy smell).

KMS is no more. Another company bought them and renamed themselves KMS California.

The old KMS Curl Up was based in quinoa protein and magnesium sulfate (episom salts).

The new KMS California Curl Up is completely different. It's based on orange and peppermint extracts.

The KMS California Curl Up poo is very drying. The KMS California Curl Up conditioner was horrible--lots of frizz, not moisturizing (and I loved the old KMS Curl Up Hydrator).

The KMS California spray was very drying and sticky.

I'll be testing the KMS California Balm this week.

Well I guess that's one conditioner I won't buy again. I'm glad I have a good bit of my liter left, because I just love it.
I hate when they mess up a good thing

Thanks, Laurabeth for letting us know the differences between the old and new versions!!

I was lucky to get two big bottles of the old conditioner, the Hydrator one, 80% off. I like it but not as much as Elucence.

I also have the old Curl Prepare cond.- the one for fine hair. I find it heavier than the Hydrator even though it's for fine hair. This (old) version has a cone and I don't think the(old) Hydrator does.

Thanks for the replies, i didn't get any email notifications though
The products i saw are the old ones, i just peaked at the kms site and the ones i saw are still in the old packaging.
i think i might go back and get the conditioner at some point this week and i'll ask in the shop if they have any more or if that's it.
From what i remember they did smell really nice and the shampoo and conditioner worked well i just ruined it with the products i put on after.

I looked at a tube of the curl up balm today while I was in Regis. I recognized the name KMS from this site but couldn't remember if it was good or bad. I was tempted. It smelled good...I love orange! :)

I bought this - cost me a fortune and I should have checked this site first!

anyway - I read the reviews, but my hair feels hard, fluffy, no definition and frizzy. I bought the product the same day as I got my new Ionic hairdryer.

My hair has been a disaster ever since!
