From what I understand a "Sparkle-lite" is the leave-in conditioner that is a part of the gel. The leave-in isnt sold seperately (i've looked and experimented) and I think its ulimately responsible for why the gel doesnt leave the hair crispy.

    Just my two cents :)

I think it's marketing hype. Either that or tiny little firecrackers going off in your hair

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

Doesn't the gel have little micro glitter particles in it? I may well be hallucinating, but I'm sure I saw the shimmer of mica on my fingers when I applied it.

Maybe it's just me, but I've never seen a sparkling anything in the gel. I checked too

I agree, I think its marketing. Another way of saying shine, maybe.

The sparkle-lites, I believe, is the silicone that's in the gel that gives the hair that "sparkly" shine(Dimethicone Copolyol) . It sounds more appealing than Fantasia Silicone gel. :) So yeah, pretty much a marketing gimmick.
A wonderful mix of coils, curls, corkscrews, and kinks.

I think you're probably right. I checked the ingredients list and there was none of that mica I "saw" the last time. So either it came from another product, or I really succumbed to that gimmick.
