...of being natural. I updated my photo albums the other day with a few new pictures. I love being natural, and I've learned so much from my girls at nc.com, especially my fellow 4a folks! :)

Lovely -- you have some great coily curls going on there. For the send in the clowns photos what brand of temp color did you use? You're giving me ideas for Halloween (we have a contest at work).

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.

Your hair looks wonderful; it's so healthy, and it's growing so fast. I remember when you BCed; it seems like yesterday :D
Dense kinky-curly; healthy and growing strong!

Thank you ConcernedCoils and TroDous (one of my hair inspirations!)

Karenmc3 I just used a temporary flourescent green and red spray on/shampoo out color from a costume store--Jerome Russell hair color spray is an equivelent. Be forwarned though, that the dye was drying. Upside it that it washes out with sulfate-free shampoo. I did a few days of deeper conditioning afterward to restore my moisture balance.

Doc--it seems like just yesterday I did the BC, but then again, if feels like I've been natural forever! :P Thanks.

I noticed you use the honeychild 3/4. How are you applying? How often do you use. I have purchased the seperate jars. I love the 3 but i can't take the odor. Love the odor of the 4 but it's so heavy.

I apply to spritzed, dampened hair. I emulsify in my hands and scrunch through. I hardly apply anything to totally dry hair unless it's a deep treatment.

I rarely use any of these type of products (products used outside of a shower/cw) but since it's going into fall/winter, I'm trying to experiement with more butters and styling products/moisturizers, etc. now that it's cooling down.

thanks for the info. I love the way the 4 smells, but it's so heavy...it's hard to wash out.
