Ever have a Keratin Treatment?

I had a deva consult today and the stylist suggested this for me, but it's WAY too expensive! $350. Something about pressing keratin into the hair with a flat iron and it would give it protein and seal the cutical and relax my curl naturally without any chemicals. I didn't necessarily want a relaxed curl, but I was intrigued...
3b/fine/normal porosity/normal elasticity

LOVES behentrimonium methosulfate
(don't ask me to pronounce that!)

Want to grow it long again!
And simply want to figure out this hair of mine!

Ghost Poster -- do you find that the Sebastian Thickefy makes your hair dry at all? I love mousse but I am getting a lot of suggestions to go towards gel because mousse is drying, and I have been having a breakage problem for a few years now....

Ghost poster, I'm not seeing this. Do you have a direct link? Can't find it!

Not at all. No drier than any other mousse or gel, that is. But, it's been discontinued, so it's difficult to find. I like it because it is very light and smells so fresh and clean.

I'm having breakage issues right now, but it's because of my new highlights; everything was fine before I had them redone and she did them in a light color and very heavy.
