If you're on a budget and you like Curls Milkshake...

I recently tried samples of the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/CURLS-Curls-Milkshake-p-884.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Curls-Curls-Milkshake]Curls Milkshake[/buylink] and Souffle, and I loved them both.

I used the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/CURLS-Curls-Milkshake-p-884.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Curls-Curls-Milkshake]Milkshake[/buylink] mainly to provide moisture for the ends of my twists, and the Souffle for moisture and hold for the hairshaft while twisting. The problem is that right now I'm on a tight budget and 16.00 plus s&h is pretty steep for me, and so I did what we curly girls do when in need of a product... I mixed what I had and wow!

I had some [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Elucence-Moisture-Balancing-Conditioner-p-39.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=elucence-elucence-moisture-balancing-conditioner]Elucence MBC[/buylink] and organic extra virgin coconut oil and I took a tiny two ounce jar and I mixed them 1:1 and I got a silky creamy concoction that was very similar to the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/CURLS-Curls-Milkshake-p-884.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Curls-Curls-Milkshake]Milkshake[/buylink]!

If you want less oil try mixing the MBC and coconut oil 3:1.

Try it and tell me what you think.

I think I'm in love with this mixture.

Sometimes I make a spritz with Elucence, water, and a little oil. Coconut happens to be my fav. It works pretty good if your hair can tolerate oils, but I have to have my [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/CURLS-Curls-Milkshake-p-884.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Curls-Curls-Milkshake]Milkshake[/buylink]! It brings all the boys to the yard!

Curlilocs I hear you! I'm just waiting for my budget to cooperate so that I can order more. I have so many products that I'm trying to hold off until the first of the year before I buy anything else for my hair with the exception of store bought coconut oil which I'm about to run out of :D
