looking for a way to loosen my curls...

I've finally come to a place where I actually like the look of my 3A/ mostly 3B curls more than straightened hair. However, when left to it's own devices, the curl tightens up too much and looks short and big. I want longer, smoother curl. I've tried achieving this using gel and twisting my hair in sections, then diffusing, which worked for awhile, but isn't anymore. Anyone know of any products that work to loosen up the curl? I'm not opposed to blow drying and prefer a product that's natural/good for your hair and has little to no cones.

I don't know about products for this, other than using medium weight creamy leave ins to weigh down the hair. (Mixed chicks, Recoil and [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Aloeba-Daily-Conditioner-p-104.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-aloeba-daily-conditioner]Jessicurl Aloeba[/buylink] all work nicely). But technique is important. See my post in Bermudagirl's thread for ideas.

    Good luck!
