I've been fiddling around trying to figure out how to create a poll for the location of our next meetup. If haven't logged on in a while and would like to preview some restaurant reviews that the ladies posted, please feel free to head over to our latest.

I think we should end voting Sat. January 16th. So that we can get the word out & have more info to give people!

Idk ... only seven ppl voted so far what happened to the people from the other thread, do they know about the poll?

If you log on regularly you will know that a poll has been generated for the location of our next meetup.

It appears that many expressed their interest when Kevina initially proposed the idea but some I have not followed up with their interest. There are some other curlies @CurlyNikki.com who would like to come as well but I'm not sure if they've utilized the poll either.

Im from curly nikki and my vote is for night of the cookers
but mobays would definately be my second choice.

Hi everyone,

Hope you all get a chance to go out this afternoon and enjoy the warmer weather we're having today.

Since, the 16th crept up so quickly I think the last day to vote will be January 20. Idk why that date popped up in my head but it sounds good. As of now most of you either want to meet Uptown or Downtown. Hopefully, we will have fairly chosen a spot to meet.

I agree with Wild curls, I'll go anywhere that's not too much of a journey. The trains are jacked up on the weekends.

I didn't even know that there was a potential meet up... my goodness. I voted. But I think this should be discussed in the more popular 4a threads... since that's where most of us dwell. I'm hoping to come out and meet you lovelies!!!

I voted "Night of the Cooker's"...great atmosphere, outstanding food!!! No loud talkin like @ BBQ's...can hardly hear yourself think there...no offense!!!:confused1:

The poll has officially ended and it looks like we will be heading to Brooklyn next weekend. Thanks ladies for taking the time to vote. It seemed that would be the only way we would fairly agree on where to meet. You know we can be difficult and indecisive at times:laughing9:.

Remember it's Saturday, January 30 @ 1pm. We will be meeting at Night of the Cookers. I look forward to meeting everyone and it will be a good turnout.

I'll keep everyone updated if there is any additional info we need to know. See you soon

Thanks Savvy for posting the pics I had such a great time meeting all the ladies that were able to attend. Thanks curlies I learned so much and welcome Free. Congrats on returning to your natural journey and I hope everyone returned to their homes or other destinations safely.

Aw, I haven't been to any meet-ups, but would have considered this one since NotC is just a couple of blocks from my apt. Too bad I just saw this post today!
