I did a review a while back but I can't find it! The ingredient list is super clean but I didn't like anything I tried. The Frizz conditioner made my hair frizzier, too soft and mushy. The Frizz lotion also made my hair frizzier; I can't do shea butter as a leave-in so I used it as a body lotion. The protein treatment was okay but not worth the $ and I question how much protein is really in nettle protein or whatever herbs that are used. Also, I had to try the Frizz Spray which flattened my hair and made it limp plus it has no hold and smelled like bug spray.

I haven't tried it and haven't heard about it. But thanks for bringing this line to my attention, I will have a look at their website.
If you are interested in an all natural line, look through the forum, many have recommended Oyin, which is supposed to be all natural and homemade.
However, I haven't tried any of their products and cannot recommend.

Hi again, MrsCurlyLady. Just looked at their ingredient list for the conditioner http://www.justnaturalskincare.com/hair/z-african-conditioner-natural-hair.html
The ingredients are all natural, healthy and seem good. However, mixtures like this don't usually work with very curly hair. The conditioner is lacking ingredients that give conditioners that thick texture and softening qualities that good curly conditioners have.

It seems like a very light, very liquid textured conditioner.

Thanks for the input and by coincidence I have Oyin in my hair as I type. So far I don't like it as much as CJ, AF,DB and HV but only time will tell.

I didn't find the Oyin moisturizing enough, either. If you like those other lines (I only like the CJ of the four, though I really wanted to like the DB because of the customer service) I think you might really like the shescentit conditioners and the Jasmines Shea Butter Conditioner and th Jasmines Babassu Butter Conditioner (sadly to say, her others have 'cones.) The Jasmines Shea Butter "melts" into my low porosity hair. I love it as both a leave in and a rinse out. The Babassu Butter is a heavier and takes a little while to soak into my hair--but the texture is great and my hair gets better as the day goes on!

If your looking for all natural products, try using the actual natural products.
I use mostly natural stylers, olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, castor oil, and I like the results.
It takes a while to learn how to get the results you want without the purchased styling products, but after you figure out how to use them correctly on your hair, they're so much better than styling products which are full of chemicals.

I just left the Jasmine site before reading your post. As soon as my stash decreases I want to try Jasmines and Christine Gant. I tried one of the Shescentit conditioners, and have two others in the closet not sure just yet if I'll order again.
However CJ is my fav. I'm waiting to see if DB other butters are as good as her MVSC.

I actually have all these items but will not take the time to experiment, I keep putting it off. It's just not my thing. Now if you make something good you can sell me a sample :cheese: at least 2oz!!!

Okay I've purchased from them once.
I saw one review on youtube about their vinegar rinse and figured it would be good since I had dandruff and wanted to follow my cv bar with a vinegar rinse.
    First time it went great.
Long story short I still have half a bottle.
It's very um drying and says to follow with a conditioner BUT also states you can leave it in so I didn't understand I wouldn't ever buy from them again.
