Your opinion on Honey Water?

Hey! So I was checking out the Jessicurl website, and saw Jess's hair routine. She said she uses honey water. She puts 2 tablespoons honey with water in a cup, pours through her hair, leaves in through her whole shower, and then rinses out. After rinsing, she turns upside down and rinses this way as well. Do you like honey water? What have you found are the pros/cons?? Thank you so much! All opinions, comments, tips, advice are appreciated!

PS- post pics of your honey water hair!

I will have to try this. My hair loves honey :love3:. I have done a rinse with conditioner/honey and have great results.

Oh, it's not in place of anything, she still uses shampoo and conditioner, it's just a rinse.

I've heard of this, but more during the warmer months. People use it as a final rinse after everything, and a lot of people say it helps with shine (this has been my experience when using a drop of honey in my leave-in to replace gel), hold (also true for me), and softness (I didn't notice this).

Have you tried searching for it on here? I know I've seen it...but it will be buried by the winter topics by now.

I do this- I use about a Tbsp of honey in a coffee mug and fill the rest with water. I leave it in and then apply my products. It really helps with frizz and curl formation in the humidity.

I sometimes do a rinse in the winter too, although a little differently. I use it before I condition, leaving it in until I rinse everything out. It makes my hair a lot softer. Oh, and when I do it this way I use more honey since it's all getting rinsed out.
