CurlMart and UPS Men

Whenever I order a product from CurlMart, I think it's really funny to watch the big, burly UPS delivery men dash up my drive way carrying my naturallycurly.com package. I often wonder what they're thinking about it. :laughing6:

Well, I wonder if they feel silly carrying the package. Or do they feel a sense of pride in delivering curly products to a curly girl?

I would think hair products are one of the much milder things delivered by UPS dudes :). Mine has had to bring me boxes of live fish!

You knew it wouldn't be long right Goob?

Yeah my UPS man knows my buying habits..although my boss sent me a beautiful wreath...so he was like "live plant products" I'm sure thinking of what new weird thing I was gonna do to my hair :glasses8:

Actually I normally don't make friends with the UPS guy's because I USED TO NOT GET TOO MANY PKGS but all the product pushers here on this site got me all jacked with the PJ'ism :laughing6:

My UPS guy is very cute and bald (and married) so I always tease him Ima use up all his products allocation in the grand scheme of things..he thinks its pretty funny:)

Total guano, but WHOA, Alexjoujou.... you have Spike quotes in your siggie! (clapping hands excitedly). First time I've seen that around here....... (BtVS was a previous obsession.... before hair issues intervened.)

My SO works for UPS. The drivers are not thinking about anything but delivering the package and moving on! SO says they are ALWAYS busy and just trying to get done before 8pm. That's why they are back in the truck and down the street by the time you get to the door!

PS--He gets hit on all the time!

I thought I was just too slow, lol.

I wonder if UPS women get hit on too.

I do not order hair products online, partly because they would not survive my UPS man. He literally throws the items up the driveway and drives away. We have never received an undamaged box delivered by UPS, not once. I have way too many stories about the trouble this has caused. I choose some other delivery service whenever possible when ordering anything that could conceivably be broken by being run over or jumped on.

First of all, this is a funny thread. :laughing6:

It must depend on your individual UPS driver because I've never had problems and ours does a great job. He sets packages right by the door, even putting the welcome mat over it if it is small or might blow away or whatever. And yes, he's usually back in his truck by the time I get to the door! They are nothing if not efficient.

    For me, desert climate+porous hair+CG=inconsistent results! :-(

This is off the curly hair subject, but I remember when I ordered a fairly expensive reproduction print from the Metropolitan Museum of Art a few years ago. It was wrapped in a poster tube and when the UPS guy delivered it he stood halfway in the front lawn and threw it (like a football) at my front porch. Luckily the expensive print was unharmed, but it sounded like a bomb exploded on my doorstep. So far, UPS has treated my hair care products more kindly.
