hair type?

in Hair Type 2
Hello curlees!!!
I'm not new to NC, but have been gone for about a year. Recently did my BC (August 2009 but it has actually been 3 years since I used ANY type of chemicals) and need some assistance.. need to know my hair/curl type. I THINK there is a mixture 2c/3a/3b.. my avatar doesn't do well at showing the different textures/patterns though... could someone help please? Also, if someone could tell me how to post pics in my post I can show more of my hair to give a better idea on what all is going on with it... I came back because I LOVE this site and all of the valuable info.. and am REALLY interested in getting my length back... please help
Thanks!!

There are several ways to post a pic, however, I only know the way I do it. in the reply, there is a little picture button, it looks like a mountain range with a sun above it. You click that and it will ask for a link. You link it to a pic that you have hosted on another site. I use picassa, I think Yahoo has a pics, there is fotki and Pops mentioned one in the "New Avatars" thread. I think it was "tiny pic"?
Hopefully that will get you started!
I am horrible at typing, but I def see the 2c parts, and maybe some 3a underneath?
You can upload pics to the Picassa (on google) and Yahoo pics for free from your computer.
The top is wavy... but there are some spirals, and ringlets... underneath (it is shorter in the back.. cut in a bob..)
I like photobucket for picture hosting. http://photobucket.com/ it will give you little things that you can copy and paste into the thread so the pic ends up in the thread itself. just use the one that starts with img.
You could also check out CULRS' website here (http://www.curls.biz/curly-hair-type-guide.html) for another typing guide with pictures.
There's also the FIA method (http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=33607&PN=1) and the LOIS method (http://www.tytecurl.com/v02/hairtypes.htm).
But really, type isn't as important as porosity and texture.
