I had a pixie hair cut a couple of years ago, and I loved it - BUT I did not wear it naturally.

Does your hair wave more when it is shorter or longer? I ask because my hair gets wavier as it gets longer, so it doesn't look too good pixie short and natural.

A bob cut could look good too and be very easy to manage if you air dry.

I loved my hair in a pixie cut, it was insanely easy and cute, and I was working outdoors a lot so it was perfect.
However, my hair grows pretty fast, and keeping it short was a pain in the ass. Not to mention growing it out back to shoulder length was a nightmare!
My hair is thick, so I had a lot of trouble trying to get it to lay flat.
I definitely recommend it for travel, but be ready for the grow out stages!

i think my hair would straighten if i cut it short. oh well. i need practicality more than beauty right now. :-(

my hair is kinda in a bob now.

I used to wear mine super short and I loved the way it looked but I had to put a ton of products in it to get it to behave. I also had to get it trimmed every 4 weeks because the ends would start curling up weirdly if they got more than a couple inches long.

It was a nightmare to grow out as it looked REALLY bad for a while. That is what keeps me from ever cutting it that short again.

I'm currently growing my pixie out (i had shaved my head), I haven't got much of a wave pattern yet, but I haven't really tried to get it to wave so much (i'm a little baffled how to go about it!). It just flicks up and does it's own thing half the time. During winter I just blow dried it cos it was to cold out.

As the others said it tends to grow out rather fast - I have to get regular trims if I want it to remain in some sort of style (excluding a mullet! the back always grows the fastest??)

I guess you know best what your curl type and hair type is like.
