Hair rant

I'm very frustrated with my hair! It is dry and styling is very difficult. The back portion of my hair has very loose curls that go down while the crown and top of my head are much tighter and goes up. I have no idea how to style it because it won't look right. I've tried to puff out the back but it still goes down or just refuses to go out. :protest: Will this phase pass?

I hate to tell you this but probably not. :-(
Mine is like that too, fairly loose 3b in the nape, 3c thru the middle and front, 4a at the crown. This is the way alot of curlies are.

I'd say to try a heavier styling product on the tighter areas and something looser on the back. Currently I like Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition and I use it as a leave in and as a styler.

When I style the back I only use what was left as a leave-in. Then apply more to the tighter middle and crown to help it hang down.
