Non-inflamed acne--RCW please??

Hi everyone.

After a visit to a new derm, I now feel quite depressed. She told me that I have non-inflamed acne that cannot be treated--what the heck?? I only get this during pms time, little clogged pores on my jawline that look like tiny bumps. I know it's not that bad, but I hate them!

She said even accutane wouldn't get rid of this.

Is there anything I can do? :tongue6:

This is the kind of acne I fight now. My younger years were spent fighting inflamed acne, and Accutane did indeed cure me of that. Now, however, I get the "small stuff"...clogged pores, congestion, micro-pimples. I don't think there is any cure for it, but it can be treated. It's just a constant, never-ending battle to keep pores exfoliated and clear. Salicylic acid, lactic acid, Retin-A...all the stuff that helps keep skin exfoliated is helpful. I also think my Clarisonic brush is valuable in the fight against congested pores.
