i took out my two strand twists and didnt comb it or anything when i 'washed' it, so thats why its in nice clumps... i just dont know what to do with the back, with its being a big poof or anything though

I get poofy pieces when I fail to apply my styling product thoroughly. Maybe you applied less gel to those pieces??

thats a good idea... how do you apply it without mussing your hair? im going to try doing it in the shower

I have this EXACT same problem... If I let it do what it wants to do, my hair at the back of my head goes straight fuzzy wuzzy on me. I've realized that its because the hair on the back of my hair is a totally different texture than the rest of my hair. But like curlynikki said, even distribution of product is key to combat the fuzzies... I've also found that I have to take special care when detangling or handling that section. I'll usually have to specifiically finger coil that section, or put extra gel back there if I shingle...

    Hope That Helps :D

Like everyone else said. My hair in the back middle of my head between the crown and the neck is like that. I spot gel over any product I apply. Works.

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.
