Just for fun: What did you do with your hair today? :)

And not just for today! You can post here tomorrow, the next day, whenever. "What did you do with your hair today?" applies to the many days to come.

Well? What did you do with your hair today? Products, techniques, ect?

Here's what I did with mine:

-Co-washed with V05 Strawberries n Cream conditioner.
-Conditioned with GVP Conditioning Balm, combed through and left on for 3 minutes while I do my other shower stuff.
-Rinsed well with cold water to seal cuticle and add shine.
-Raked through generous amount of LOOC Leave-in, flipped upside down and raked thoroughly there as well for more volume.
-Scrunched in [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/AG-Recoil-p-24.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=ag-hair-cosmetics-recoil-curl-activator]Re:coil[/buylink], 3 pea-sized drops, lathered up in my hand.
-Scrunched in nickel-size puddle of LA Looks Mega Hold gel.
-Did Super-Soaker method.
-Scrunched in EcoStyler Krystal Styling Gel and smoothed a little over my "trouble areas", or areas that I get the most frizz.
-Plopped for 20 minutes, and let air-dry after that (2 1/2 hours).
-Scrunched out the crunch, and added four bobby pins to clip some hair up for more volume, since I didn't get as much volume as I wanted today.

I know it sounds like a lot, but it's really not that much! :) HoW aBoUt YoU?

Today was an "I'm not leaving the house, so I don't care" day, so...
I decided that I'd rid my hair of any excess oil, conditioner, and anything else clogging up my hair. I busted out my Organix shampoo, lathered it from root to tip, combed out all of my loose hairs with a wide-tooth comb (I combed out enough hair to make a wig), and rinsed with lukewarm water. Then, I took my usual conditoner (Kiss My Face Daily Conditioner) and rinsed first with cool water, then COLD water. After that, I wrapped my hair up in a t-shirt and I'm still wearing it nine hours later. :laughing6:

2C roots, 3A/3B for the rest.
currently growing out... pulled down the longest part of hair is a little past the armpit.

    curly goals: GROWING OUT! :toothy8:

routine: Condition daily with Nature's Gate Conditioner, shampoo once a week with Organix Hydrating Shampoo .
Wrap in t-shirt and let dry for ten minutes. Scrunch with Redken Ringlet 07 and blow-dry bangs.

Today I woke up with this mess of poofy hair from wearing it in a pony all day yesterday. So I threw my head in the sink, put some of Giovanni's direct leave-in in my hair, and then used the pantene style curling gel.
    It turned out okay. :P

Yesterday evening I did my regular wash-plop for five minutes-diffuse-air dry, but I decided to go to bed early so I had to pineapple it when it wasn't crunchy enough. It looked terrible today, and there was a lot of wind when I was walking to school; and when I got there, I remembered it was photo retakes day. YARGH.

Oh, well. Tomorrow should be better!
Thick, mostly 2c with some 3a; fine texture, medium/high porosity, and a very strange curl & wave pattern.

Started CG (properly) as of 6/31/2009.

Cowash | Suave Naturals Ocean Breeze or Juicy Green Apple
    Rinse-out | Burt's Bees Super Shiny
Leave-in | Live Clean Intense Moisturizing
    Gel | HESMU

Right now: growing hair past shoulder-length, looking to take decent hair picture (my avatar is my first day of CG).

    This morning:
    -Co-washed
    -Conditioned
-Rinsed (for 2 seconds or so :D)
    -Plopped
-Gel-ified both sides & then upside down
    -Dried w/ a microfibre towel
    -Puff-ified my hair w/ a scarf

    Tonight I will:
    -Spritz my hair lightly
    -Two-strand twist sections
    -Bantu knot the sections

    AND the next morning:
-Take down the knots, but leave the twists. Let's see how this sucker turns out :D

Sorry about the thread spammage. I should really be writing this stuff elsewhere....

Yesterday I was super bored so I went all out.
    I wet down my hair,
sectioned it with the Curlisto method,
applied Giovanni Tea Tree Co as a leave in, s
    crunched in LOOB,
    super soaked,
then applied FSG and LA Looks Sport.
I did this for each of the five sections.
Then I plopped for 15 minutes.
I let my hair air dry for 15 minutes
then pixie curl diffused for 10 minutes
then let my hair air dry the rest of the day
    then SOTC'd.

    Today,
everything besides sectioning and super soaking.

    1)Woke up w/o scarf
2)Screamed at the flat compact frizz I created
3)Thoroughly Sprayed my hair w/ my water and EVOO spray bottle.
4)Applied hair conditioning gel to the front.
    5) put only the front of my hair into 7 small Bantu knots in the front and left the rest in its afro curly state.
Overall: I really liked it and can't wait to use it as a alternative to headbands.

What I learned: The hair in middle of my hair is reeeeaaallly soft :) and I need a soft bristle brush to smooth down my edges to create a "Cleaner" look. And--I need 8-9 bantu knots 'cause my hair is really thick.

    -Plopped.
-Applied gel in sections as usual.
    -Failed.
-Gave up and tied my hair up.

^Haha same here! I was pouring rain where I live. Despite what the song says, it does rain in California ;)

I didn't even plan on trying for 2nd day hair, so I didn't pineapple or anything. But when I woke up, my hair didn't look bad (it had looked great the day before). I scrunched in a little water and smoothed some water over my surface curls to tame surface frizz, then I scrunched in and gently raked (at the top) in some GF Curl Shaping Spray Gel. My hair turned out fine, but got a little frizzy because of the rain :(

    Ah well :)
