Ok so, I weeded out those cones and proteins. I'm down to vo5 kiwi and lime Conditioner, [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Elucence-Moisture-Balancing-Conditioner-p-39.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=elucence-elucence-moisture-balancing-conditioner]Elucence MBC[/buylink] and BWC and let's see, recoil and tizz no frizz and dep sports gel. Oh and I forgot I have the brown onec now. I don't dye my hair but I wanted to try OneC so i"m hoping it won't hurt.

I have tons more but I wanted to leave proteins out for a bit and then add just one in to see if I was sensitive or if it was the protein cone combo.

Products sound good? So far those aren't giving me bad hair days. I don't use tizz and sports on the same day but the other stuff sometimes I do. I have low poo if I really need it but I'm going to try and not use it.

Let me know if you see any problems with this.

Those are some good product choices actually. Versatile and can be combined for different kinds of hold & weather. I found the Tizz combines well with any other gel. I usually use it on top of a harder hold gel. I love One C, but can't say I noticed much difference when I tried the Brown; you'll have to let me know if you see any brightening of your color.

Vo5 Kiwi and Lime is being discontinued, I believe. If you like it, stock up! It's a very good COwash for when you're starting out CG, but you probably won't need it after a month or two, anyway.

Yeah I knew it was discontinued, thanks though! I had tried curly girl before when my hair was fried out from being colored. I used it then. I started using it again after I found out my Suave coconut had protein in it.

I'm hoping I'll be able to either water rinse or figure out this 2nd day hair.

What do you use to CW?

CelticCurl I'll be sure to let you know.
I wish that tizz no frizz had more hold but it sure makes my hair nicely coiled. Maybe as my hair is healthier I won't need as much hold?

looks like your off to a great start!!

One thing I noticed, being CG for even the 3 1/2 weeks I have been on it, I now find it VERY easy to figure out whether or not my hair likes things (like protiens, never knew my hair was sensitive to it till I was on CG)
I remember when I lost my mind - there was something so pleasant about that place - gnarles barkley

Cool, thanks everyone I'll go with the products I've picked out and then branch out from there later if I want/need to.

I'm all paranoid to PJ shop now, I'm going to be right next to a Sally's tomorrow but other tha aura hypo gel which doesn't have enough hold for me unfortunately ( I really want to love it so I haven't given up using the sample I have) I have no clue if I should pick up anything there.

Ah well saves me money for something else I guess, maybe I'll get sushi and worry about products another day.

It has super light hold unless I'm not using enough? but it's sure shiney and holds the hair lightly until dry. I want to like it but maybe it's a winter only product for me. It's less humid now but we're still getting rain almost daily........... not good for light hold stuff.

I sure could use a gel that added shine. I miss boilage gelee for that.

Well I went out and it rained today. Not on me but it was super humid. My dep sports gel didn't even hold up. I think I used too much leave in? Because the top of my hair looks sort of greasy and not at my roots , but just on top. It doesn't seem to absorb the conditioners well. Maybe I need to do a protein treatment? I used to spray hairspray on that part of my hair, just right on top of my head.

I have to say I have less volume than when I first did my hair but it's curlier so all in all it could have been worse.
