How are you wearing it in your avatar (it's a tiny photo)? How do you typically wear it, and what length is it? I'm curious about why you thijnk you need to change your usualy style. Do you consider it unprofessional?

I second the bun! Very simple, professional and non-compromising.

i have them in bantu knots...that's how i've put my hair to dry since deciding to transition...my hair is about armpit length...i don't consider my current style to be unprofessional...i just didn't want to be constantly putting heat on my hair while my curls come in you know? i was looking for ideas to blend the textures in a conservative way...

i'm going to have to put heat on it for it to defrizz...i guess i have no choice...

thanks you ladies for your help anyways...

I second the bun, especially on a bantu knot out, braid out or twist out. A messy bun like curlynikki does would be good, or a Southern Tease (check youtube for the vid).
