back story, i've only been transitioning since august of this year...i noticed though that i have no line of demarcation...err...is this possible??? i have about 1.5 inches of new growth...and the only way to tell it from my relaxed hair is the curl pattern...i swear i can pull it and it wont snap...the only part that is iffy is the ends of my hair as i had a color put on 2 years ago...is this possible...

my routine :toothy7:
wash: one wash using nizoral and organix coconut poo mix
moisture: vo5 tea therapy raspberry sage condish
deep condition/leave in: organix shea condish

my hair feels like :blob7:

i went through this for the first couple of months but when my natural hair grew more i could definitely tell where the two textures met....and now i can see just how damaged my relaxed ends are compared to my natural hair.

My mum has no line of demarcation and she has been transitioning for over two years - i suspect with the few trims she's had she is fully natural - her hair is so strong. She chucks any product in it and has it in natural canerows nearly all the time. When she takes them out her is wow.
I tell her her hair always feels 'juicy' kind of damp even though she doesn't put water on it. I think that is the key her hair is naturally well moisturised.
I'm the opposite i have dry scalp and hair.

She doesn't take vitamins and her water intake is just average. She does nothing special except keep it in permanent canerows.
Maybe you are just BLESSED with very hydrated, non tangly hair.

    chinacurly,
aww...i hope this lasts...i would HATE to have alot of breakage as i continue on my quest, as i refuse to BC...i would go into depression...lol...my ends are damaged from the color and relaxer...but the naturally colored part of my hair seems healthy...i guess i'll find out in the coming months...
