Why do my posts NEVER show up in New Posts?

I just started a new one in the General Discussion forum, and it's just languishing over there - never did show up in New Posts. This is nothing new - mine never, ever show up there. I don't get it!

Since it's already moved a ways down the list in the General forum, I'll bump it up to see if I can get it going, but that shouldn't be necessary.
2C/3A/3B - modified CG - fairly fine now, normal/low porosity/normal elasticity

Current Main Rotation: MG217 medicated or Aim2Health 'poos for scalp, Elucence cond., Spiral Solutions Protein & Deeply Decadent Cond., CJCCCC reg or lite,CJ Pattern Pusha,, Giovanni LA Hold Hair Spritz + lots more, sporadically

HG Method: Super Soaker + Smasters-ing, brief upside down diffusing w/360o diffuser then clips/clamps & air dry. Newly gray - stopped my henna glosses!

    This happens to me, too -- but I always assumed it did go to "New Posts," in other users' views, but not in mine (because, to me, it's not new. I already "viewed" it, when I posted it). Does that make sense?

    Now maybe an expert will tell us for sure!

    But your post showed up in my "new posts."

    Maybe . . . but that wasn't always the case - I used to be able to see them, too, but it's been a long time.

    I believe I see mine in "today's posts", even if I have seen it, it's just not bolded anymore. Doesn't help solve your problem though :/

    I use:
    Garnier Ultra Doux conditioners
    High in glycerin conditioners
    As much gel as possible
    Testing out flax seed gel
    Plopping, for around 30 minutes
    Pixiecurl drying
    Pineappling

    I think they may have made a change. I used to see mine, too. The change may have happened about 6 months ago? (I'm guessing there)

    Yeah, that sounds about the same timeframe that I started noticing it. I'll just assume that Wavycurly and Kathymack are right and let it go.

    I want to say that it happened in February, or there about. It was at the same time that the new posts started to be around 500, and not just the new posts.
