Do you DT with wet, damp, or dry hair?

Title pretty much says it all! What's the most effective for you? Does it depend on what you're using for your DT?

I add my dt to towel dried hair. I have been leaving it in all night and rinsing the excess out in the morning. Amazing how much my hair absorbs with this method. Very little rinses out.

I tried it the other day on dry hair just for the heck of it, and I still had to use my DT again in the shower after rinsing it out because it definitely didn't feel like it had penetrated my hair.

I always DT on damp hair. If my hair is too wet, it drips out of my shower cap and towel. If my hair is dry it just feels weird.
